Meet the Doctor
Dr. Alexander Stanton, DDS
Dr. Alexander Stanton has built his career on the belief that dentistry should be as much about relationships as it is about results. He earned his undergraduate degree in Physiology and his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Washington, graduating with honors and induction into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society, a distinction reserved for those who exemplify character, academic excellence, and professional growth.
Blending art and science, Dr. Stanton has a special focus on oral and implant surgery, cosmetic dentistry, and advanced treatments that not only restore function but also enhance natural beauty. His dedication to continuing education allows him to stay at the forefront of dental innovation, ensuring that every patient benefits from the latest advancements in techniques, materials, and technology.
Originally from Poway, CA, Dr. Stanton honed his skills in both Seattle and San Diego before making Bonsall his forever professional home. His philosophy of care emphasizes honesty, precision, and long-term solutions, creating an experience that is as personal as it is transformative.
When he’s not crafting smiles, Dr. Stanton can often be found traveling, surfing, or exploring hiking trails. He especially enjoys time with his wife, Allyn, their daughter, and their whirlwind of a dog, who together keep home life lively—sometimes bordering on chaos—but in the best way possible.

Dr. Christina Roberts, DDS
Dr. Christina Roberts completed her undergraduate degree with magna cum laude honors at the University of California, San Diego. After working several years in the dental field, Dr. Roberts pursued her passion for dentistry at the prestigious University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry. Following dental school, she further honed her skills through a general practice residency at the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Healthcare System and Stanford Hospital. Here she gained invaluable experience treating military veterans and medically compromised patients. With her extensive training and commitment to provide personalized care, Dr. Roberts is excited to contribute to the well-being of her patients with a focus on preventative dentistry.
Dr. Roberts believes the foundation of exceptional care is the doctor-patient relationship. She is passionate about creating a dental experience where patients feel truly heard, respected, and cared for. Having once been an anxious dental patient herself, she understands the importance of compassion, patience, and a gentle touch. This perspective shapes the way she practices, ensuring every patient feels comfortable and confident in her care.
Dedicated to providing the highest level of dentistry, Dr. Roberts continually advances her knowledge and skills through ongoing education in areas such as dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, CAD/CAM digital dentistry, and other evolving techniques. Her goal is to combine clinical excellence with a personalized, reassuring approach, helping patients achieve healthy, beautiful smiles in an environment of trust.
Outside of the office, Dr. Roberts enjoys an active and balanced lifestyle. You can often find her running around with her golden retriever named Blue, relaxing at the beach, or getting lost in a good book.

We’re proud to serve not only our patients but also our community through volunteer initiatives like the San Diego Veteran Stand Down, North County Veteran Stand Down, and St. Leo’s Dental Clinic in Solana Beach, which provides free dental care. These programs allow us to extend our expertise to those in need, because everyone deserves a healthy smile.
Our History
In 1990, Dr. Randy Carlson opened his dental office in Bonsall with a clear vision: to provide exceptional care built on integrity, innovation, and a personal touch. From the very beginning, the practice was guided by five core values:

Although he has since retired from clinical dentistry, the foundation he created continues to shape our practice today. His values remain at the heart of everything we do, guiding us as we carry forward the legacy of trust, care, and community he began more than three decades ago.
